I've read the doc and various blog posts about creating custom mappers. It seems that there is a generic mapper already available for text cck fields. So, if my feed contains custom elements (with their own namespaces), will the mapper pick them up? I've tried and can't get it to recognize them. Just want to know if it's possible and how? Thanks for any input.

It does work if you use the Simple Pie Parser. The Common Syndication Parser, using PHP5, doesn't seem to like these custom fields.
