The following warning appears when saving a feed node:

warning: mysql_real_escape_string() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in drupal_dir/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 321.

Changing the return value of hook_feedapi_feed() op = type from array to string seem to suppress further complaints.
