I've selected my content type on my vocabulary, I've edited my Feed item and selected Categories which should be assigned (multiselect).
Any of my downloaded feeds have any of those assigned categories.

Is feedapi inherit enabled on the content type you're working with?

I think it's not working with Vocabularies which are not set to Free Taging;/
Because 'Vocabularies' section doesn't show up when editing the feed. When enabling free tagging, then it show up.
Can you confirm that?

feedapi inherit only works with free tagging vocabularies
