Overridden panels not detected as modified by features

Hi,
I have exported some mini panels, some pages and some variants for the page overriding the node view. If I enable the features they behave as expected. The problem I have is the following: if I modify whatsoever option (I haven't actually tested all the possible options changes) the panel is reported correctly with storage overridden in the panels listing. When I go to the features listing page instead the feature containing the export remains marked as "Default". Of course I have tried to clear the cache.
Moreover if I force the feature containing the panels to revert everything the modifications present in the database remain unmodified (I'm aware about #813760: CTools Page manager pages do not revert properly, tried to apply the patch but that didn't solved the problem).
