Hi there,
I have followed instructions/advice in readme's, troubleshooting docs and forums to set up my file browser and am still having a bit of trouble I hoped you could help with.

The image fileupload and quickuploader are working just fine, sending images to my sites/default/files/upload/images folder per connector config settings, and are then easily browseable in the image manager. However, I am not having the same luck within the Link button to upload files (I have allowed doc and pdf files). Those files are all being sent to the root drupal directory, and then are not browseable. I can't for the life of me find where to fix this so that these files go into the sites/default/files/upload/ (and then /files).

My settings for file paths are:

$Config['UserFilesPath'] = '/sites/default/files/uploads'' ;

and

$Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] = '' ;

I have tried a variety of options for the absolutepath but none seem to work so it's blank for now. Am I perhaps entering this wrong?

Also, what's the difference between setting these paths in the config file vs. in the fckeditor profile page? Do the two need to jive?

Thanks

You need to check your profile settings first. They will override some of the config.php settings.

Ok, in my fckeditor profile, my Path to uploaded files is: %b%f/ (sites/default/files)

The Absolute path to uploaded files is: %d%b%f/

From what it reads on Current Path, they should be the same directory.

Is there a different setting for the files that are uploaded from the Link button than images uploaded from the Image button?

Thanks

Maybe your modifications to config.php have caused this. Please attach your filebrowser connector config.php to this issue. I've attached mine (the default one).

By the way, I see that the issue is created for fckeditor.module version 6.x-1.x. Please try version 2.1 or try CKEditor (http://drupal.org/project/ckeditor).

Ok - I think I've finally resolved the issue. I had to define the absolute file path in the config.php, instead of the ,' ', and also add '.file/' and '.image/' to the QuickUploadPath and QuickUploadAbsolutePath per below. Also, I have the latest version of both the module and CKeditor - just didn't pick the right version when I posted my comments.

$Config['AllowedExtensions']['File'] = array('doc','pdf') ;
$Config['DeniedExtensions']['File'] = array() ;
$Config['FileTypesPath']['File'] = $Config['UserFilesPath'] . 'file/' ;
$Config['FileTypesAbsolutePath']['File']= ($Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] == '') ? '' : $Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'].'file/' ;
$Config['QuickUploadPath']['File'] = $Config['UserFilesPath'] . 'file/' ;
$Config['QuickUploadAbsolutePath']['File']= $Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'].'file/';

$Config['AllowedExtensions']['Image'] = array('bmp','gif','jpeg','jpg','png') ;
$Config['DeniedExtensions']['Image'] = array() ;
$Config['FileTypesPath']['Image'] = $Config['UserFilesPath'] . 'image/' ;
$Config['FileTypesAbsolutePath']['Image']= ($Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] == '') ? '' : $Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'].'image/' ;
$Config['QuickUploadPath']['Image'] = $Config['UserFilesPath'] . 'image/';
$Config['QuickUploadAbsolutePath']['Image']= $Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'].'image/';
