I just rewrote a client's site from standard html to drupal (6.12). I included fckeditor module 1.4 rc1 & fckeditor 2.6.4.1 Because the old site had been around for a while, I want to redirect any traffic to any of the original html pages to the home page of the new version. I added this rewriterule ( RewriteRule ^(.*)\.htm(.*)$ http://www.example.com? [R=301,L,NC] ) to the htaccess file - which worked, but it caused fckeditor to show only the home page in the body. No toolbar or content shows. Fckeditor works when I remove the rewriterule. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

FCKeditor uses several html files. Add a RewriteRule that excludes fckeditor htm files. An easy way would be:

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f

This makes sure that when the referred file exists, the rule is not executed. In other words, the rule will then only be executed for non-existing files.

I hope this helps.
