On the main project page, this wrapper claims "Browser compatibility" with certain browsers and version 2.5+ of FCKeditor (the 3rd-party product version, not this wrapper project), but lower down on the page, under "Drupal compatibility," it claims that version 2.6.1 of FCKeditor (the 3rd-party product version, not this wrapper project) is required.

The project page should describe the prerequisites unambiguously.

Thanks, and sorry, but I'm changing it back to "bug" (i.e. an "error" or "defect").

  • The distinction between an error in code and an error in documentation is specified by the issues Component.
  • Category "bug report" is for errors, whether code errors or documentation errors
  • "Task" is for updates in development (again, either documentation or code)

Update the fckeditor (rc6) but when I return to firefox I've got this this eror..But site still work on IE...

Joker, your issue should be started as a seperate issue. This issue is about documenation not about a bug you may have found.

In "Browser compatibility", FCKeditor 2.5+ means that FCKeditor is compatible with Opera since FCKeditor version 2.5.
This way people running FCKeditor module 5.x-1.2 with FCKeditor 2.4 will know why FCKeditor does not appear at all in Opera.

@danorton: I agree that at first glance when reading the project page quickly some people may be confused, but I think you misunderstood the documentation just because you were reading it too quickly, just focusing on listed FCKeditor versions. Anyway, feel free to suggest a better description of "Browser compatibility" section.
