I upgraded to this version of the editor module and I also downloaded the FCKeditor_2.6.3.zip from http://www.fckeditor.net/download since it is my only option.
Now when a user browses server during image upload (which is enabled and does work) the user recieves the following error: The server didn't send back a proper XML response. Please contact your system administrator.

I can not finde any documentation on how to fix this.
Does anybody have a suggestion?

If you we're using some old version of FCKeditor before, there is a slight possibility that it is caused by file names with special characters.
If it is not such a case, to solve the issue, use some HTTP Debugging Proxy (I use Fiddler) to track all HTTP requests and check all connections to connector.php. The GetFoldersAndFiles and GetFolders commands should return a valid XML.
