I've found solution for it,.. we need to ad this code to /fckeditor/editor/dialog/fck_flash/fck_flash.js
SetAttribute( e, 'wmode', 'transparent' ) ;
About line 166 (version 2.6), under the // Advances Attributes

wwalc commentedUnfortunately it can't be fixed on the Drupal module side, it's a pure FCKeditor issue, Thowever thanks for sharing it with others.

webservant316 commentedHmm... running Drupal 6.22, Wysiwyg 6.x-2.3, and FCKeditor 2.6.5 and added the fix above but still do not see the flash player menu. I see the flash movie and if I set the auto start and/or loop it does all that. Also if I right click on the flash image I see a dialogue menu.
However, hoping to have a visible menu below the flash image to help the typical user of my page. any ideas?

webservant316 commentedAnyone there?
Opening issue for a little help, even though it is purely a FCKeditor issue. I tried the fix above and it didn't work.
I also tried both a SWF and a FLV file. The SWF file played, but again no menu displayed, only the right click context menu. The FLV didn't play or display at all.
Thanks for any help anyone.
Jeff

jorrit commentedHave you tried CKEditor? FCKeditor is no longer developed and may not work in modern browsers.
Comment #6
webservant316 commentedThanks, I'll look into that. Is CKEditor the favorite choice for Drupal users? Also can I just switch editors without breaking anything on existing website pages?

jorrit commentedI'm not sure which one is most popular, because TinyMCE is also widely used (with the WYSIWYG module), but I mentioned CKEditor because it is the direct successor of FCKeditor. You can also use CKEditor with the WYSIWYG module, but there is also a separate module for CKEditor, which is based on the FCKeditor module, so it should be easier to migrate. You can find it at drupal.org/project/ckeditor.
