i just installed FCKeditor for Drupal 6 (6.x.1.3-beta version), but it seems to be duplicating every edit area? even for simple fields, such as the site summary, it will show two editor areas - one on top of the other.

any ideas? i'm not sure if there is another module that's conflicting with it; or if it is just a glitch that i can fix with the settings/code.

any help would be appreciated.. thanks!

Do you have any other modules installed? Try disabling them for a while and check what happens.
Rather impossible, but if you're using a custom theme, switch to Garland and check if that helped.

it doesn't seem to be an issue with any other module..

we are using a custom theme, and the issue doesn't appear when using Garland. but, i'm not entirely sure where to look for the problem - since it's not duplicating all fields, just the ones FCK uses?

Is is possible to attach important files of the theme, such as page.tpl.php?

It looks to me that your theme prints $closure twice:
<?php print $closure ?>
It should be done only once.

Let us know if that did the trick, otherwise reopen this ticket.
