I use Drupal 5.1

I have just upgraded to 5.x.1.3-beta using the latest FCKEditor 2.5 Beta and the editor is now broken. I believe some of the paths and directories have changed in this new 2.5 Beta version - maybe that is the problem.

1) When trying to launch the tool to add an image I get an Error 404 - page not found response from the XML.

2) The fckeditor.config.js file doesn't override anything. Toolbars set in this file are not found by Drupal.

Indeed, the paths has changed in FCKeditor 2.5 so you have two ways:
- install 5.x-2.x module (dev release) which is compatible with FCKeditor 2.5 (beta) and FCKeditor 2.4
- stay with 5.x-1.3 and downgrade to FCKeditor 2.4.3, later upgrade to 2.5 when the 5.x-2.x release would be marked as stable
If you could try the latest 5.x-2.x module it would be great - the 6.x release would be based on this version.

Doesn't matter which version of Drupal module you use, fckeditor.config.js should override the default settings from fckconfig.js.
Make sure that you have put this file inside "modules/fckeditor/fckeditor.config.js" - not in "modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/fckeditor.config.js"
If it still doesn't work, take a look at source of your page and search for "Config['CustomConfigurationsPath']", it should point you to the right path.
