Hi there,
I use FCK Editor on my website and have recently installed webform. It's a great module but every time I try to access the add/edit webform page in Firefox, I get a message about an unresponding script and my browser crashes. Any idea what might be causing this? Seems to work ok in IE and it also works fine if I turn FCK Editor off. I doubt the issue is with FCK Editor, as I use it throughout my site and the only place where it's a problem is when running with webform.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

quicksketchThe unresponding script error is a javascript error. Because webform uses no javascript, and the page works fine without FCKeditor, the problem lies with that project rather than webform. Sorry!

ontwerpwerk commentedcan you elaborate on what kind of webform you have (does it have many textareas)
and do you want FCKeditor to appear on your webform?

vaniavv commentedHi,
I get the error on the Create Content -> Webform page, so it's not only present on a particular webform instance but is there any time I add or edit a webform. I have FCK Editor applied to the "Description" and "Confirmation message or redirect URL" fields. I don't need FCK Editor for Webform, but when I try to turn it off for the fields with ids edit-body and edit-confirmation, FCK Editor gets turned off for the edit-body ids on other pages as well which I don't want happening.
I noticed another thing which happens in IE as well - even if I have just one FCK editor instance on the webform, the links for the different settings (Publishing options, Menu settings, URL path setting etc) don't work in IE and I get a stack overflow error. I'm not sure about Firefox because I can't even see the page in it wihtout having the browser crash.
It does seem like it's a FCK Editor issue as it works fine in other pages - webform is the only one where it crashes. Could there be some sort of conflict between the two?

ontwerpwerk commentedusually FCKeditor works when there are multiple instances in a page, but it has problems with collapsing fieldsets... are there lots of collapsingfieldsets in the webform creation form?
vaniavv commentedYes, there are 11 collapsing fieldsets but they're not more than would be found on a regular Drupal page when being edited.
I found a way to fix it by hacking the webform.module file. I made the text areas on the webform have less lines/rows than the minimum for FCK Editor to be applied and that has temporarily solved the problem. However, the issue is still there if I make text areas have more rows than the FCK minimum.

ontwerpwerk commented11 collapsing fieldsets is not that much...
Still I won't fix this because webforms are usually only editable for administrators and will not be updated / created on a daily basis (similar to views and panels that have the same problems with FCKeditor)
