When it says the minimum numbers of rows is 5 to me that language means the fckeditor loads when the number of rows is 5 or greater. The code just check greater.

pearcec commentedI should make a caveat here. It seems 5 is a magic number for a lot of textarea's you don't want running the FCKeditor on. So either we change the wording or change the default. We might piss a bunch of people off if we all the sudden change how it previously worked. For example my Comment box on workflow is 5 rows. Which I don't want, but on my Events textarea it is five. That is what prompted the whole thing. So I think I am just going to try and hack Events textarea rather than added an exclude tag for every single comment, log, small system oriented text area.

ontwerpwerk commentedthe events module does not initialize the textarea with any value - therefore it's the default of 5 lines and FCKeditor will not be loaded.
You might use a form_alter to edit the events module and initialize it with 6 lines or more.
Changing the wording is a good idea though
