I've actually tried this in both the stable version for Drupal 6 and the dev version for D7. I can't seem to unlike from the Static FB like block.

I also tried going directly to my own FB account and deleting the like from there. That seemed to work but a short time later, the block seems to show that I still like the page with no way to change that.

I just can't suss out if it's a FB issue or an issue of this module. Maybe you would be able to provide more insight?

Can you hover the like button and click on the X. Took me a while to discover that the greyed like button is used to unlike...

Yes, dmegatool is correct. Hover over the like button and a gray X appears to the left of the word "like." Click that to unlike.
