Line 119 in fbconnect.pages.inc:
$query = "SELECT COUNT(name) FROM users WHERE name = '%s'";
should be replaced with
$query = "SELECT COUNT(name) FROM {users} WHERE name = '%s'";

because of:

user warning: Table .users doesn't exist query: SELECT COUNT(name) FROM users (...) fbconnect/fbconnect.pages.inc on line 120

when drupal installation uses prefix for sql tables.
