Ok I installed FB connect for 7.x. The instructions were I guess copied over from the 6.x. Figured out how to manually slam the configuration URL in from another closed issue.

Put the facebook ID and secret into the facebook connect settings and pressed save.

However in the config page where I am supposed to copy the URL and paste to facebook shows up blank. Upon clicking save I receive this error below, so I couldnt copy this URL to give over to facebook.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Facebook::getSession() in /home/content/24/7933624/html/2011/modules/fbconnect/fbconnect.module on line 400

also note this bug has killed my entire drupal load. Every page load using the drupal engine now gives this error.

Installation of patch http://drupal.org/files/issues/fbconnect_2.zip managed to fix the critical errror. Found this in the "Port FB Connect to Drupal 7" issue thread. There is another version in there using GIT.

Meanwhile I am still expereincing major errors:

These errors are within drupal and not fatal.

Which SDK version are you using? If latest, you may have to revert to 2.x.
