Why is Facebook Connect login disabled for user #1?
I connected my user 1 account with my facebook account when trying out the module and it seams to work without any issues.
Btw, I'm referreing to the facebook connect block which displays "Facebook Connect login disabled for user #1" instead of the facebook connect button if you are logged in as user 1.

Dave Cohen commentedIn an earlier issue, someone expressed confusion over having admin privileges on drupal while logged into facebook. It's because they had used facebook connect as user #1. At the time it seemed like a reasonable thing to disable the block for that special user.
It's not because it doesn't work. It's because that user has so much power. Most admins dont want to log in as that user most of the time.

filiptc commentedI don't see the confusion. I vote for making it optional (blog owners with less than 50 visitors / day might be ok with the power issue). Cheers

I am also facing the same issue. I started reading the thread but no remedy has been mentioned here. Can someone please let us know any remedy or how to make it work.

Dave Cohen commentedIn the spirit of keeping the code simpler, I eliminated the exception for user #1. It should allow facebook connect for that user now.
