Please i would like to use this module that looks have been used by a lot of people since years but i am seeing on the pag No longer maintained.... and can decide what to do , especially for migrating to D8 later..

Also , i tried the module and have seen some submodule deprecated and for Facebook connect it's keeping saying that REST API is oudated..

i am currently using the 4.x -dev version of this module. i am digging through the source and fixing bugs as well as deprecated features from facebook. i have open some issues and i am still opening more so that people who can patch the project will be able to do so as i am not a confirmed user yet and i have not set up a working environment to enable me patch the source.

i am hoping to take over the maintenance of the project soon and fix bugs, migrate more features from 3.x as well as port it to drupal 8 before the end of this year.

If you are not a developer, you may not be able to use the module now as it is riddled with bugs as facebook has upgraded their API and deprecated some features use by the module which needs to be updated.

Awww ladybug i'm very happy to hear from you. I cannot open issues on all the bugs i am currently fixing with the module because they are many. Moreover as a new unconfirmed user, my post is throttled on this platform (i open another issue after the app token stuff which was deleted) so i am not encourage to post more.

I have documented all the changes i am making on my local source and i will keep documenting them as i am still working on it. When i am done, I'll go through my local project source and list all the bugs as well as modifications i have made. I will either post them here as issues if the system permits me OR i will contact u for an alternative measures.

@chris i would love to but this platform is discouraging me. I made a long note on the issue Link to post is broken detailing some issues and the fixes i made, but the post was hidden/deleted. guess i passed my maximum of two post a day as i had already posted twice.

this throttling stuff is frustrating and it has discouraged me from posting issues as i encounter them. When i'm done i will try again or find an alternative way to post as i have found issues in almost all the components of the module including some js parts.
