i know the documentation says not to put the facebook app in sandbox mode and not to use test users ... but i still dont have a secure URL and without which i cant disable the sandbox mode ...

i dont know if this is causing the problem but am asking incase it was something else

i tried put my test users as (insight users, testers ,even admins) they keep automatically logging in as the user who created the app

if the sandbox is the problem is there a way to go around it meanwhile?

Are you logged in as the user who created the app? That is if you go to facebook.com, who are you?

Use one browser to administer drupal, and another browser to test anything facebook related. Don't connect to facebook and administer drupal in the same browser at the same time is the rule of thumb.
