I'm using the 'Connect' button to allow users to log into facebook on a website.
When an ipad user clicks the button, the authentication window pops up correctly, and the user can enter their information. At this point the screen refreshes, but the user is not logged in. If they restart safari, then the page displays the load bar across the top of the screen and they are logged in.

thowland commentedI suspect it may be tied into the well-known back button bug in ios safari:

thowland commentedThe user is logged into facebook after refreshing the original page; something is preventing this page from refreshing after login.

Dave Cohen commentedIt might have to do with third-party cookies. Is there a setting on that browser to allow/deny them? It would be worth testing if that setting makes a difference.
I don't have an ipad to test on.
thowland commentedI tried it with allow all cookies on; it shows the same behavior.
I think the cookie is actually getting set, as it does show me logged in when I reload the page- the issue is that the page doesn't refresh.
Do you have access to a mac? I believe you'll be able to replicate this using the OSX emulator.
