Hi. I installed latest dev version, and have this problem.
I can't get this rule to work. When i set rule "Show a configurable message on the site" and login via facebook, the message is shown on user page. But no matter what i try, i can't get redirect to page to work. Also tried with triggers, but no luck. It keeps sending me to /user every time.
Anybody have some advice?

pdouglas commentedI'm having the same problem with 6.x-3x2-rc3.

13rac1 commentedConfirmed. The core "User has logged in" doesn't work correctly either. It works for regular logins, but not for FB logins.

Dave Cohen commentedDoes anyone know if other alternative login modules handle this better? I.e. oauth, other facebook modules? I'm hoping to find an example of how to do it correctly.

pdouglas commentedDave, I don't know how other modules handle this, but when I set the url destination parameter like http://exemple.com/user?destination=home it works.
This information can help?
Sorry for my bad english.

Dave Cohen commentedThis issue is about rules integration, as I understand it. If someone can submit a patch to work with rules, great!
In the meantime, try a documented workaround: http://drupal.org/node/969242
