Patrick D. Hynes commentedThis module is not compatible with the new version 3.0.0 of the Facebook PHP SDK. You need to use an older version to get it to work (https://github.com/facebook/php-sdk/zipball/v2.1.2) until the module is made to be compatible with the new SDK. Any ideas on when this may be?
Comment #2
Dave Cohen commentedYou may have modules confused. Are you sure you're talking about modules/fb, a.k.a Drupal for Facebook?
Comment #3
Dave Cohen commentedNow I see what you mean... #1166272: Upgrade Your App to OAuth 2.0 and HTTPS by October 1st (a.k.a undefined method Facebook::getSession())
Comment #4
stieglitz commentedconfirmed as well.
Comment #5
catarinavclemente commentedI had the exactly same error.
Comment #6
NickLitten commentedsame error here and *downgrading* to the older FB library worked. Thanks.
Comment #7
umesh sharma commentedI also had the same error. please check
$session = $facebook->getSession();
$session = $facebook->getUser();
Comment #8
vinayras commentedThank you Umesh for suggesting this.
This problem arises if you are using the latest Facebook PHP SDK 3.1.x
We have changed
$session = $facebook->getSession();
to
$session = $facebook->getUser();
And it seems to be working fine.
