When I installed Facebook for Drupal alongside the location module with required user location fields, my user registration page stopped functioning correctly. A user can no longer enter a required user location when registering on the site. The Facebook for Drupal code allows the user to connect to Facebook to obtain name, e-mail, picture, and other functionality on the registration page. However, the new registration page appears inside an iframe, the "Register" form button also appears inside the iframe, the page displays none of the field descriptions or documentation to make life easier for the user signing up, and the required user location fields appear outside of the iframe where they are not sent as part of the form. Because of this, initial user validation automatically fails.
Fortunately, the validation failure page functions correctly as a standard Drupal registration page, so it is at least possible for a user to create an account. However, the form's validation errors and lack of field documentation can cause users to give up.

Dave Cohen commentedIt's not fb_connect.module, but fb_registration.module that is causing this problem. Just disable that module.
I recommend users enable the Drupal for Facebook modules only when they are sure they need the features of that particular module.
If anyone can figure a way to make location fields work in the facebook registration form, a patch would be awesome!
