Im really sorry to post this Issue as I didnt find any documentation or previous posts to solve it... When I go to Administration->Structure->Facebook Apps. .. it takes me to the Add an application page, once I click on the Add Application link it takes me to a white screen with this error : Fatal error: Call to a member function api() on a non-object in /home/hagosit1/public_html/paregios.com/principal/modules/fb/fb.module on line 586
after I reload the site it gives me this message:

I do have the facebook.php on that directory I actually created different directories in diferent locations just to cover all the posibilities...
I have added a few modules and solved the issues that came up to me with help of the documentation but this one is being particularly difficult to me at this time.
I am willing to provide you with all the access needed to solve this issue, so who ever gets this issue assigned please contact me at jorgeporras@msn.com (thats my personal email).

4good commentedI have same issue...

4good commentedPlease recheck that you inserted the full path correctly. and that the src folder is under facebook-sdk and not directly under library.
mak1986 commentedIt is because when you download the zip file and extract it. the folder will get this name "facebook-php-sdk-afa1534". So you will need to delete "-afa1534" before copying it to the library..

akalevela commentedThe issues is actually in the settings.php file. If you read the "README" file you added a line that looked like this at the end of your settings file
$conf['fb_api_file'] = 'sites/all/libraries/facebook-php-sdk/src/facebook.php';For my installation this URL was wrong. My folder structure is "sites/all/modules/libraries..."
This removed the errors. I did also correct the fb.module URL be the errors didn't stop until i changed the settings.php file

serjas commentedAlso if your server has no CURL , same error will appear

richmck commentedAlso check the permissions, Make sure that the process that the web server is running as, has access to the file
