Longtime user of FastGallery since Feb '09. I upgraded my site to D7 yesterday and installed FG v7.1. After working out the D7 bugs, I turned my attention to configuring FG7 today and find that it is suddenly no longer supported and the download links are gone! Talk about timing, ha ha. Is there any more information about this situation? Has development been suspended or abandoned? I take it FG6.5 will not work with D7. Is there a similar alternative to FG that someone can recommend?

Sorry to see this one go - FG wasn't perhaps the most elegant thing out there but it was quick and simple and useful; I'm loathe to wade through endless complex gallery programs just to get some thumbnails and lightbox on a page.

Hi, it's still there, but it needs some serious work!! I had some complaints of people who thought this was already working, which it doesn't. We need some manpower here to get it done!!

Glad it's still around and I hope manpower is forthcoming ;) As a long-time user I'd love to help but unfortunately I'm not a coder and only know just enough to be dangerous. As it stands, there are some issues with that version of the v7 beta; it says a DB table for the cache does not exist. I'd help if I knew how. But thanks for replying; it is a useful module and I'm sure others are patiently waiting. The dropped support for EXIF is my only other complaint, as there needs to be some provision to add captions. I had 8 galleries and over 1,000 images running well under the old FG. Anyhow, best of luck and thanks in the meanwhile...
