Accordion FAQs should have anchor links that open the accordion item

Hi
I have assigned id to some faq answers. The idea is to open the faq page at that particular answer—from within that faq page or from a different node. However, on clicking the link, the faq page is not scrolling down to the intended answer.
I have found a node (https://www.drupal.org/node/2542482) that belongs to Drupal 7 version of the module. Is something similar possible in drupal 8 version. I want to assign working id to every answer in the faq field.
