Hi,
I've installed the FAQ Ask and FAQ modules and FAQ seems to be working fine, but there is an error I can't seem to get rid of. I've attached an image here to see what it looks like.

The error says: "No vocabularies or terms were found for the "faq" content type . Please go to the Categories page to update your vocabulary."

This isn't true, though. We have selected categories faq in a few vocabularies. I also saw the related issues concerning this problem, and their problem was free-tagging, so I checked that, and all of our vocabularies has free-tagging unchecked.

You'll see in the screenshot, that there is nothing under the list that would let me submit changes to that screen. And it refers to a section of users that I don't even see.

I've tried this with other themes, and am getting the same problem.

Please let me know how I can fix this.

Thanks,
Jen

If a serious error is detected while building the form, the submit button will not be displayed.

Can you verify that there are actually some terms defined in the vocabularies that are used by Faq_Ask?

Hi,

I also ran into this problem. What I noticed was that I could not have a Taxonomy that had Multiple Select enabled. I had two Vocabularies assigned to FAQ Pages, one of which was for categorisation, and a second to 'tag' the content to a specific list of terms. This second Vocabulary had "Multiple Select" enabled. Removing the FAQ page from this Vocabulary solved the error.

Please consider a fix wizard which will fix the free tagging for faq_ask. Once we have setup the taxonomy vocabularies, FIX the free tagging issue.

@strikehawkecomm: If you mean that this module should allow free tagging, that's not going to happen - it breaks other things (search the old issues). If you mean something else, please explain it more clearly.

I can confirm that there is is no submit button at admin/settings/faq/ask
I can't understand why I need to configure Taxonomy which it have to be set to FAQ Content.
Even I did that, I've still have some error:

No vocabularies or terms were found for the "faq" content type . Please go to the Categories page to update your vocabulary.

Is there any simple instruction how to make this module working?
In my opinion it's very hard to configure it, I've spend around 10 minutes to configure it, but I couldn't.
I've disabled this module until there will be some simpler instruction how to configure this module. Because all users get some error on page when they click on Ask a Question.

I've read README.txt, but I didn't found any "Use Categories." option.

In order for this module to support multiple experts, it requires that the FAQ module be set to "Use Categories."

The settings are on a new tab in the FAQ Settings page. One selects the roles to be considered experts; then one is given a choice of users within those roles to associate with the FAQ categories. The expert role(s) need to be given the "answer question" permission.

"Use categories" is a setting for FAQ itself. Have you looked on the project page for Faq_Ask and followed the link to the documentation pages?
