I would like to have multiple different FAQ pages for different subjects.
And I cannot figure out how todal with the faq content type.

It seems to me that the faq content type only provides structure for a single question/answer pair.
But how can I set up a single web page containing all q&a's?

Moreover I would like to have multiple FAQ pages according to a list of categories/subjects, that are defined
in my 'Subject' taxonomy.

Thank you
Juergen

  1. Create a vocabulary using the "Taxonomy" module, e.g "FAQ vocab" and associate it with the "faq" node type.
  2. Create a number of terms in this vocabulary.
  3. Create your question and answer pairs, i.e. faq nodes, and associate them with a term from the "FAQ vocab" vocabulary.
  4. Go to the FAQ category administration page and email categorization of faq content : admin/settings/faq/categories Also choose the category layout you want.
  5. Go to the FAQ page "faq", e.g. www.example.com/faq where you should see a full list of all FAQ nodes for all categories.
  6. By clicking on a category name, you should be taken to a FAQ page which just displays faq nodes associated with that category / term, e.g. faq/123 , where 123 is the term id.

See http://drupal.org/node/129209 for more information.

Thank you very much for your immediate help, stella:-)

Issue is closed and I will run a new drupal db.
maybe de- and re-activation of the faq module messed up
my faq nodes. The full faq page remained empty all the time, and i was wondering, where
all the nodes had gone...

Cheers
