I'm getting this

Fatal error: Call to undefined function taxonomy_get_vocabularies() in /sites/all/modules/faq/faq.module on line 585

when i click the link on the administration page to create FAQ categories.

Yes, i know i need taxonomy for that, however, you should hide that option or give a proper error message when this happens.

Thanks for spotting this one! I've fixed it in the 5.x and 6.x versions and it should be available in the next dev release, available later today. Patch attached.
