The main page of the FAQ module states:

Upgrade Notice

When using categorized FAQ nodes, the disabling of the FAQ module causes the vocabulary to lose the association with the FAQ content type. This results in no FAQ nodes being displayed when you re-enable the FAQ module. Before opening an issue, please verify that this setting is still in place.

The 'view faq' permission has been renamed to 'view faq page' so you may need to re-adjust your user access permissions after upgrading to the latest version. See the release notes for 6.x-1.8 more details.

Surely this is a bug? It is not stated on the main page whether this bug has been resolved.

I searched the issues to see if it had been resolved, but could find nothing.

Could you please explain what the current status of this bug is?

Title: Lose the association with the FAQ content type » Association with the FAQ content type is lost

It's not being worked on. It's documented as a known issue. The problem is that we don't know which of the vocabularies is the one we should be using. If anyone wants to submit a patch, then I'll certainly consider it, but it's not being worked on at present.

Hi stella,

Thank you for the quick response.

Unfortunately I am not at all a Drupal coder so I cannot help with a patch, although I would love to.
