Problem/Motivation

Installed fancy login on a dev site that I am working on and we created a block on the home page (/) that when clicked triggers the sign in/login popup. What we've noticed is that when we're on the home page and signing in for the first time, the pop up doesn't do anything. You can press "log in" and nothing happens.

If you click on "Request a new password" and click back to "Sign in" the sign in works.
If you're on any other page and try to sign in, the sign in works.

Please advise if there's anything I can do to help troubleshoot or a setting I need to enable. Thank you!

Steps to reproduce

  1. Click on "Login" or "Sign in" while on the home page
  2. Enter valid credentials on popup
  3. Click on "Log in" (submit button)
  4. Nothing happens

So... upon further investigation, it's a 301 redirect in my nginx conf file that was causing the issue. Removing the redirect, resolves the issue.
