Hi!

I try this modul (1.3), but it doesn't log into the syslog (centos 6.5, /var/log/messages).
I tried to login fail with a username, but it didn't appear in the log. Why?

(the settings are default with whitelist IP empty.)

This modul works not automatically? I've have to send the false comments manually (admin/content/comment)?

The module doesn't send the failed login to syslog. This function is missing?

The 1.x branch of this module only writes a syslog entry if you remove a comment and check the box to block the posting IP. It does not do anything else.

If you want to block users on failed logins or captcha fails, you will want to enable the core syslog module and configure it to log to a particular file. You can then use the fail2ban rules included with the 2.x version of the module to block the IPs.
