Hello,

I noticed spammers love hitting /comment and user/register pages repeatedly.

Could this module have a threshold for these per ip per timeframe for a ban?

You don't need this module for that at all, fail2ban can do that in conjunction with the web server access log already.

To do that, you want a fail2ban jail that checks how often a given url is hit within a set timeframe and by which IP. You can do that with a regex in the filter.

Awesome thanks! Would have been sweet to do it from this module. Perhaps collecting Drupal specific common regexes in the module would be great.
