It would be nice, if the facebook like-button is available as well beside the share-button. I did not find any module with this feature. Is this extension possible or even planned?

The Facebook Share and Like buttons offer different functionality. The Facebook Share button is meant to share a link to content with your thoughts in your Facebook stream whereas the Like button works similarly to Digg.

There are no plans to add Like button functionality to this module because they are different features offered by Facebook and this module is only meant to provide functionality with the Facebook Share feature.
