It would be nice to have a stable release of this module so that any security vulnerabilities identified are handled in private.

Are there any issues that you'd like to see fixed prior to a stable release?

This module has been around for quite a while and I think I would have considered it stable for some time now. My contribution time has sadly been much reduced in the past year, but I will see if I can muster a run-through of the queue and put out a 1.0 in the nearish future.

Thanks for the feedback. Even if you made no changes I think a 1.0 tag and release node would make sense.
