Strange. These are clearly external links to Amazon content yet the user leaves the site.

Amazon ads are likely embedded inside of an iFrame, which isn't parsed by the JavaScript. I'd be careful trying to mix extra JavaScript and advertising blocks though, modifying the functionality of an ad can violate your terms of service with your ad provider.
