The CSS matching is a great new feature. I'm trying to identify a CSS match to exclude. Is it possible to identify the class of the link itself?

e.g:

I presume this works: <div class="class-name-to-exclude"><a href="http://www.example.com/">Example</a></div>

But does the following: <a href="http://www.example.com/" class="class-name-to-exclude">Example</a>

And if so, what would be the selector to write, because .class-name-to-exclude and a.class-name-to-exclude doesn't seem to do the job.

It should be .class-name-to-exclude.

I will do some more testing in the next few days.

Just to double check. Can you clear the cache to see if that fixes it?

I just tested it.

I have the following link.

screenshot

It is inside a div tag without a class. I used "div" as the filter and it worked.

Basically the selector looks at the parents of the link to see if it matches.

So if you want to exclude a block or a div or anything like that you can, but not an individual "a" tag with a class/id etc.

Does that makes sense?

If you think the description should be more clear, please provide an alternative.

Marking as fixed for now.
