I've downloaded the module, activated the options in the module configuration and added new content with external links: nothing happens.
It seems to me that this module uses tha a.ext selector in the CSS file to classify external links, but those classes are never added to my a tags. What should I do to debug this? I can provide you any information you want.

This module was working when I initially installed it, but after a few days after installing some another drupal module (don't remember which exactly, but it was asking me to update the existing jquery.js) external links stopped working. I just swapped to the original 'jquery.js' and external links work again.

Sounds like a conflict with jQuery 1.1. I'll look into this when I have time (no guarantee there). If anyone has any jQuery experience, feel free to contribute patches.

The new 1.2 version of the module is now fully jQuery 1.0 and 1.1 compatible.
