I'm seeing this when I add the RGB field to the Article type:

No label on field.

This is the better-documented and older issue, but I'm going to close it in favor of the newer duplicate at #1103804: Field example: widget "RGB value as #ffffff" is missing a label because that one has a patch attached. Thanks for the bug report.
