I posted this in the post-installation forum, but I didn't receive any replies. So I'll try to describe my request here:

Serveral of my events have different dates. Because there is no pattern for the dates, i wasn't able to link an event with multiple dates.

Has anyone an idea how to realise my request?

Thanks a lot
Christian

4.7 is currently considered old code and will soon be replaced by the code that is currently in cvs. If you don't have to use eventrepeat in a live, production environment in the immediate future, I'd give the cvs version a try (along with event 4.7).

Please let me know what you find.

Moving this request into HEAD (for a 5.0 version). As I understand it, you want to allow multiple dates assigned to an event that are not necessarily tied to a repeating pattern.

I have the same issue here. I have some events (multiday classes) that do not follow any particular pattern. For example, two real-world scenarios I've encountered:

- A weekend workshop meeting from 9-5 on Saturday and 9-2 on Sunday
- A tutorial series Tu, Th first week, Tu only the second week and Tu, Th the third week.

I expect that the best approach would be to program these as repeating patterns and then enter the appropriate exceptions?

Marking this as postponed, as right now I'm just trying to track down bugs. If you need this functionality, I'd suggest looking into views/cck/calendar/date combo of modules.

Basic event does repeating but no multiples. CCK/date does multiples, but no repeating.

Is there any solution that can do both?

Right now there isn't. Sorry. My main focus is spending my very limited time to fix bugs and push for a either a 5.x-3.x version or 6.x branches. Patches are welcome.

This will require changes to events not repeat events. I am going to convert this to by design.

Thanks
