This is a small patch which extends the permissions with a new access control, to let user add repeat patterns only on their own content.

Now that the repeat form is in the node form, this should not be an issue. Once the cvs version gets finished and promoted to 4.7 I'll close this issue.

Marking this as won't fix for 4.7.x-1.x. You will probably want to upgrade to 4.7.x-2.x, which should be posting soon. (Most of the issues that are left in the 2.x version were present in the 1.x version as well.)
