Problem/Motivation

The Event Platform has so far been used mostly for sites in English. We should document what would make it easier for it to be used in multiple languages, and then either make those changes the default, or at a minimum provide a submodule that could set up the translation elements, so that a camp or event that needs a multilingual website only needs to add the language(s).

Any feedback from camps that have done this work would be extremely helpful.

Proposed resolution

Create child issues for the changes that are required. At some point we may need to decide which can be implemented by default, and which will require a submodule and/or companion module in the ecosystem.
