Hi,

I have my view on the homepage linked to featured events articles. When I add an event, it will be displayed on the homepage in the view. However, my event date pay be like 7:30am-9:30am and the homepage will display a completely different time, like 11:30am. So i'm pretty confused as to what may be causing this.

You can check out what i mean at www.cfka.org. On the homepage, look for the block with a heading saying "Understanding our community breakfast series". The start date says 11:30, but if you read the teaser it says 7:30 to 9:30.

thanks,

I'm quite sure that this data is not part of what views does.

The start date comes from the date module or event module?

Additional i would look whether there is a working time zone set.

If it's event module, then I had similar problems in the past (both with Views and with custom code) - database stored times are not correct as-is, these need special processing (timezones-translation), which the event module only have hardwired in hook_nodeapi(), so nearly all external code is bound to fail. I didn't really test the 6.x event+views integration, so I can't say whether the problem is there too, but certainly that bit of code (which belongs to event module, I believe) is the place for this. (I ran into this sort of problems while patching the upcoming events block code over at #78271: Upcoming Events to optionally show event dates instead of countdown. On 5.x, I was also bitten by the views integration being broken in this part.)

Not moving to event module queue yet, as we don't really know whether it's event or not here.

Project: Views (for Drupal 7) » Event
Version: 6.x-2.2 » 6.x-2.x-dev
Component: node data » Code

This is a even issue form my perspective.
