Dynamic Event Status Display

Problem/Motivation

During the life cycle of an event, it may have many different states, beyond just published and unpublished. Some of the states include

• Draft
• Published
• Unpublished
• Archived
• Cancelled
• Postponed

During the life cycle of an event, it might also have a few other states, including

• Upcoming
• Ongoing
• Past

Ideally there should be a single field which computes the state of an event, such that for scheduled events, they may show as upcoming, ongoing, or past based on the scheduled dates. Additionally, canceling or postponing events should update this status. There may also be a desire for the idea of "Tentative" or "Proposed" events which we may want to have dynamic statuses for.
