From INSTALL.txt (CVS version 1.3):

4. You must then enable one or more node types to be used with the event system. You can do this by going to admin/node/configure/types and selecting a node type from the list.

Newbies like me seem to interpret this as a list of links to click instead of the tail end of a URL. Perhaps something like:

4. You must then enable one or more node types to be used with the event system. You can do this by going to administer -> content -> content types -> configure (a tab) -> content types (a link under the tab) and selecting a node type from the list.

I'd strongly recommend the link-path I provided above instead of the URL because most people will need to know how to get back to that spot without having to go to a specific URL. It's easier for people to recall if they "click here" and "click there".

Since first-timers will be installing this by following the instructions linearly from #1 through #4, may I suggest the following addition? Below the Requirements section, add something like the following:

Recommended
-----------

The event module is able to use custom content types which can be created using the flexinode module. It is recommended that you install the flexinode module and create event types for this purpose, so you do not have to use core node types for the calendar system.

Then get rid of the last paragraph above the Author section, since it would be a repeat.

Thanks for making such a great module. It looks terrific now that I have it working correctly.
