When field can reference entities of more than one bundle, Views filter shows "Array" as option

A co-worker ran into this today. A client's site has a term reference field that is set to reference terms from two different vocabularies, but when we try to edit a Views filter to that field to only show content referencing a certain term, the options wee are shown are "Select all," "Array," and "Array," as in the attached screen shot. If we tweak the field settings to only allow terms from one vocabulary, we see a list of terms as expected.

Kind of surprised that I didn't find another issue about this… is it just us?
