Sort (weight) the values stored in the reference field.

When the reference field is set to allow multiple values, is there a way for the user editing the field to sort the selected values? If you think of some other field types where you add the value then click the 'add another' button, the resulting values can be sorted / weighted.

If this isn't available, any recommendations on how to implement this?

Or possibly make this a feature request?
