I'm using al older version of this module (6.x-1.17) on a site with thousands of nodes. I would like to upgrade to the latest version of Emfield, but I'm worried if there will be any issues. Can I just upgrade as usual or are there certain steps to follow? Where can I find documentation on this? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if it supported, though I looked through all the hook_update_N() in 6.x-2.x and could not see any code to alter the db. schema between the major versions. I think it would work just fine. Make a backup of your live site and test this locally. Always make a backup before upgrading.
