I've tried all the various views field options for the embedded video field and non of them has any bearing on a TEASER VIEW LIST that displays the embedded video field. How / where do i change the display of the emedded video field in a TEASER LIST?

PAUSE:

Ok i just went back and tried LIST VIEW TYPE and now those settings work! Well all do except thumbnail (i guess you still need an api key for that?).

So i guess the field display options in views have no impact on teaser and full node list types right?

More specifically, the main problem is that an embedded video ALWAYS shows up as a LINK to the video node proper in a TEASER. i would like to display the embedded video as embedded video in a TEASER node NOT A LINK. that way a user can play teh video in the teaser and not have to always click one more link to go to the actual node! the node title is already a link to the video node. understand?

This is fully functional on my site, and a few others that I run (see here for example), can you please give a link to your site or more information on your configuration?

* Actually, I can see this has been resolved by the user. The options should be set in the emfield options for the specific content type, not from within views.
