Just a quick question to find out if anyone was working on porting ejournal to 4.7 yet?
Dave.

romca commentedI would like to, sure, but have so little time - but yes, definitely, so far as I know, noone is working on 4.7 version yet

silurius commentedGet this under 4.7 CVS:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_checkbox() in /mypath/mypath/mypath/mysite.com/modules/ejournal/ejournal.module on line 154

geoffb commentedI'm a Drupal newbie but hope I can help. I believe the Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_checkbox() is due to the new form generation methods in 4.7. Someone with a little more experience than me should check this out for complete-ness, but in function ejournal_settings() in the ejournal.module file,
$output .= form_checkbox(t('Custom layouts?'), 'ejournal_custom_layouts', 1, variable_get('ejournal_custom_layouts', '0'), t('If this option is checked, publications, sections and editions can each have their own own layouts that override the global layouts selected above.'));
$output .= form_checkbox(t('Automatic issue publication?'), 'ejournal_use_cron', 0, variable_get('ejournal_use_cron', '0'), t('If this option is checked, the future issue will be automatically published, at the given date and without human help.'));
should be replaced by:
$form['ejournal_custom_layouts'] = array('#type' => 'checkbox', '#title' => t('Custom layouts?'), '#default_value' => variable_get('ejournal_custom_layouts', '0'), '#description' => t("If this option is checked, publications, sections and editions can each have their own own layouts that override the global layouts selected above."));
return $form;
Hope that helps.

romca commentedHi Geoff,
thanks, I used it, at least it helps a little - just now I am converting the module, it may take some time though (not that easy)

StevenSokulski commentedWhen I created my first Journal after installing the module I got this error message:
implode(): Bad arguments. in /webroot/s/t/steve027/www/magic/modules/third_party/ejournal/ejournal.module on line 1004.
Immediately I notied no problems. However, moments later the whole module crashed and would show me no articles.

romca commentedif you use vocabularies, make sure that the articles have them assigned. Fixed a long time ago, just now cleaning ;-)
